Proofwriter Manifesto
The Writing
Proofwriter is the only distraction-free writing tool with authorship verification backed by the blockchain. Think Google Docs or Word but for proving your humanity and limitless writing.
Proof of origin is indispensable in the age of AI. Whatever kind of writer you are — student, journalist, novelist, or content marketing writer, Proofwriter shows exactly where your writing came from.
Unlike other online editors, Proofwriter doesn’t work at all with generative AI or “co-authors.”
Instead, the streamlined tool purposefully flags any copy and pasting on the writing’s unique origin story, called the Proof page.
The picture shares a snapshot of the writing. It’s as close as you can get to having someone watch you type over your shoulder.
Anyone can find Proofed documents by their unique Proof ID and verify them for free on our site.
Once you make a Proof, a fingerprint of the text is added to the Bitcoin blockchain, making it impossible to alter or add to the writing after it has been notarized.
Proofwriter has a variety of themes to encourage creative writers to achieve their goals, and the Collegiate theme is a full-suite word processor tailor-made for students toiling long into the night.
Our mistakes and rough drafts are what make us human, so harness the creative process to show anyone you did the work—not a machine.
Start writing today for free and share the Proof everywhere, only with Proofwriter.
